The contract with West Baden Springs Hotel has been signed. We have 12 rooms reserved for Friday May 5th-Saturday May 6th, 2017, checking out on the 7th. The rate for single/double "Premium Atrium View Guest Rooms" is $209/night. This is about $40 less for the "preferred atrium view rooms". This is a unique luxury hotel (National Historic Landmark) that should provide a great weekend ride/destination experience for Scrambler couples. (Some may wish to also take advantage of the European Spa experience). The hotel is about 250 miles from Chicago and located next to the 202,000 acre Hoosier National Forest and near Patoka Lake and many other riding roads through southern Indiana. Separate, but next to West Baden, is the other historic "French Lick Springs Hotel" with it's Casino! There is a shuttle between the hotels.
General Plan:
Friday (May 5) Ride to West Baden Springs Hotel (8538 West Baden Avenue, West Baden, Indiana 47469). Check in by 4:00 and have cocktails at the bar in the Atrium under it's 200 foot ceiling. Dinner is not officially planned. There are five restaurant options in the hotel, but I may arrange transport into town to a nice Mexican restaurant. Some may wish to visit the casino or just check out the beautiful lobby of the French Lick Springs Hotel.
Saturday (May 6) Day to ride throughout area including Hoosier National Forest and southern Indiana all the way down to the Ohio River. Or some may want to visit Bloomington or artistic Nashville or schedule a relaxing day at the 28,000 sq. ft. Spa. From 7:30 - 9:30 we are scheduled to have dinner in the up scale Sinclair's Dinning Room with a group menu with four entrée choices per person.
Sunday (May 7) Check out after breakfast and create ride home.

Scramblers need to act early rather then late! Call 1-888-936-9360 to reserve your room. Identify your group as "Streeterville Scrambler Motorcycle Club", group code 0517MOT. Then email me indicating you are signed up (scmccuskey@yahoo.com). Because of performance parameters in the contract with the hotel, we must have 90% of the rooms reserved by 90 days from the contract signature (30 September). Basically, if 11 rooms are not reserved by Christmas, then I will need to cancel the contract. I know this is a bit expensive, but this is a unique weekend that I think couples will particularly enjoy. Hopefully, we can get even more people/rooms signed up.
