April 19th - Sunday Breakfast: A reminder that the 3rd-Sunday Breakfast gathering is almost upon us! Come to Apple Villa this Sunday to visit with your fellow Scramblers and join in the conviviality of motorcyclists just chompin' at the bit to get the riding season started. The restaurant is located at 3101 North Barrington Road in Hoffman Estates just north of I-90 on the east side of the street. Everyone is welcome, there's no need to RSVP and separate checks are available. Be there by 8:59AM for primo seating with the group.
May 3rd - Virgin Voyage: The Virgin Voyage is on May 3rd. Please let Wade know if you're planning to ride so that he can print up the correct number of route maps, and the restaurants will be prepared. Early June - Memorial Ride: John Young is putting on memorial ride for lifetime member and good friend Curt Gonstead. This ride will be in southwest Wisconsin on some of Curt's favorite roads. A flyer will be be posted to the website soon.
Late July - Oregon Trail: Adam is organizing this Summer's trip to Oregon. If you're going (or even thinking of going), please send Adam an RSVP or an intent to ride email atraswg@comcast.net so that he can finalize reservations and plans for the trip.
Fall - Pig Roast: Andy Anderson has once again volunteered to sponsor the pig roast and smoke some delicious BBQ at his home. He is looking for someone to help him organize the day ride. If you're interested, please contact Andy at (312) 324-1177.
If you have an idea for a great day, weekend, or longer ride, contact Bill Milam at (630) 854-4082. He is finalizing the calendar for this year, and beginning the schedule for next year.
