Sweeping S-shaped curves of the middle fork of the Clearwater River and Rt 12
If you love scenic River, Water Falls, Hot Springs, Mountain Vista views and back country Wild West motorcycle adventure, then this ride is for you. We meet in Missoula, Montana on Sunday night July 16, 2017 to start our adventure.
Shoshone Falls
The first week will include The Great Scenic Loop through Central Idaho and Western Wyoming/Montana. Starting out west on the beautiful Idaho Rt. 12 along the Clearwater River, deep in the back country.
Then south along the Salmon River, Payette River, Boise River and the Snake River, stopping to see the Shoshone Falls.
Crossing the state to the east side to Idaho Falls for a two day stay. Idaho Falls south loop trip through the western Wyoming and SE Idaho, Then the start of a two-day north loop through western Wyoming, the Grand Tetons and Yellowstone National Park, staying in western Yellowstone for another day of riding the area.
Beartooth Highway
Leaving for Salmon Idaho, back on the Idaho Great Scenic Loop. Riding the next day along the Salmon and Bitterroot Rivers toward Missoula, Montana.
Three nights in Missoula with two one day scenic loops: Glacier summit to Logan Pass 6,646 ft. [Road to the Sun] and a western and eastern Idaho Loop.
Back to Yellowstone western entrance, taking the north route to the north entrance towards Beartooth Scenic Rt. 78/212 over the pass 8,000 ft. to Billings Montana.
From Billings to Deadwood South Dakota by way of Devils Tower route.
3/16/17 Update: No rooms are reserved anywhere under the "Streeterville Scramblers" name except for the Comfort Inn and Suites in Deadwood. If you just call in and don't mention the Scramblers, you will need to book for 2 nights at $199 per night. There are ten rooms reserved under the "Streeterville Scramblers" for one night at $186.99. Rooms held until June 28th.
3/21/17 Update: George has made arrangements in Missoula and Billings for a group rate for the Streeterville Scramblers. You will need to call in by April 10th to get the special rate.
