September 13th, 0800 Breakfast in Town then up the MT Washington auto Rd, weather permitting.  Is steep, can be windy and or low visibility and rain, may have some gravel, but is maintained. https://mt-washington.com/ for information.  $25.00 per bike, maybe an additional $15 for a passenger.  Then leaving NH into Maine via their lazy country roads to Castine Maine, where we will stay at the Castine Inn for 2 nights.  The bay contains bioluminescent plankton and nighttime kayak tours may be available for 75 per person to experience.

The Castine Inn, https://www.castineinn.com, Make your own reservations, for the 13th, 2 days, checking out on 15th, do so soon.  There are not many options in town.  Bar Harbor is about an hour away and is very difficult to get a place in.  This is a great deal here for a nice place.

September 14th, Depart for the crooked and coastal route from here to Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor.  Not too much distance scheduled as it seems these two days are better spent seeing sights and eating local delicacies.   LOBSTER!  We can decide on dinner for Bar Harbor, Castine or anywhere in between.

Wednesday September 15th, we head back west toward Galway NY stopping to see such wonders as the Paul Bunyan and Flying Moose Statues and meandering about the hills and Mountains of Maine.  We will finish the day in Rangely where we will check into the THE RANGELEY INN & TAVERN, 2443 Main Street, Rangeley, Maine, United States
Tel: 207-864-3341, Email: info@therangeleyinn.com checking out on the 16th.  Again please make your reservation soon.

Thursday we will leave Rangely and taking the long way initially to pick up what looks like some pretty nice roads, we will then skirt the Canadian border as we head toward Lake Champlaign and then ride the islands down the center of the lake before heading west into New York and Down to Westport on the West side and just South of Ausable Chasm and North of Fort Ticonderoga.  The Last stop away from Galway Lake will be The Inn In Westport, 1234 Stevenson Rd, Westport New York 12993, 518 335-1966 innmail@hotmail.com  Here I have reserved the 4 rooms they have available and asked him to give us another room or two, (depending on sign ups, if he gets a cancellation, Those who stay here need only put there cards on the rooms on check in.  If we need overflow we will need to find a hotel nearby.  Dinner will be at the Westport Yacht Club on Lake Champlaign.

Though we are only 100 miles or so from Galway on Friday morning, I have a 250 mile route planned in case we wish to take the long way home.  It can includes Ausable Chasm and Fort Ticonderoga or not (Opposite directions from Westport), We may have time to visit Ausable on the way into Westport, Lunch would likely be at The Adirondack Experience Museum on the way back.
